With a heaping party member of nine, complete with a stuffed toy, a so-called dog/lion, a ninja, one who can be mistaken for a vampire — a team of protagonists couldn't get any better than this. What makes AVALANCHE so unique are its individual members. With a leader like Barret, though we can safely assume it's Cloud, they formed an unbreakable bond who won't leave a fallen comrade behind.

An organization that first started off with Barret (the leader), Cloud, Tifa and the late Jesse, Biggs and Wedge, AVALANCHE is an underground resistant movement whose mission is to fight against Shinra Inc., and defeat the main antagonist named Sephiroth, once and for all. After traveling from place to place the remaining members Barret, Cloud and Tifa, meet and befriend new people which brings Aeris, Cid, Cait Sith, Red XIII, Vincent and Yuffie to be part of the group. They gather and fight by each other's side to accomplish the same goal: bring peace and restoration of the Planet to what it once was.

Another word: teamwork. They can define the definition of team and with their own abilities and fighting tactics, each person can contribute during a battle. Traveling with each other, each became a better person and even learned a few things about themselves.
